Hon. Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO) Felicitates Constituents, Nigerians on Eid al-Adha, Urges Unity, Sacrifice, and Devotion

As Muslims across Nigeria and the world mark the celebration of Eid al-Adha, a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  at Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), has extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah, describing the occasion as a powerful reminder of sacrifice, faith, and collective progress.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists in Ila-Orangun on Friday morning, Hon. Oluwatosin described Eid al-Adha as “a profound moment of spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and deep gratitude to the Almighty,” drawing from the enduring legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), whose obedience to Allah exemplifies the true essence of devotion.

Quoting from the Holy Qur’an, the federal lawmaker noted:

“Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you.” _ Surah Al-Hajj (22:37)

He emphasized that beyond the ritual of animal sacrifice, Eid al-Adha serves as an important call to renew values of empathy, humility, and unity, especially in a time when the country needs collective commitment to peace and national development.

“As we slaughter our rams and share in the joy of the season, we must also remember to extend kindness to our neighbours, support the less privileged, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood within our communities,” he said.

Hon. Oluwatosin further reminded Nigerians of the importance of perseverance through national and personal trials, noting that Islam teaches that ease follows hardship.

“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” _ Surah Ash-Sharh (94:6)

The grassroots politician urged constituents and Nigerians to remain steadfast in their belief in a better Nigeria, adding that real progress comes through sacrifice, patriotism, and shared responsibility.

“As your servant and representative, I believe deeply in our collective capacity to rise above challenges,” he said. “With patience, faith, and purposeful action, we can transform our constituency and our country into a land of enduring prosperity.”

Hon. Oluwatosin reaffirmed his commitment to good governance, inclusivity, and developmental service delivery, encouraging citizens to reflect the spirit of Eid al-Adha not just in words, but in their everyday conduct.

He concluded by praying for peace, renewed purpose, and the continued progress of Nigeria.

“May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us lasting peace and fulfilment,” he said.

AIO Celebrates President Tinubu’s Two-Year Anniversary in Office, Applauds His Strategic Reforms and Purpose-Driven Leadership

**

As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu marks his second year in office, Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), a respected grassroots leader from Osun State and a formidable pillar of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated the President for steering the ship of Nigeria with courage, foresight, and discipline.

Speaking from Ila-Orangun, Hon. Oluwatosin described the President’s tenure as one characterized by bold action, clear vision, and measurable results. He noted that, in just two years, Tinubu’s administration has begun reshaping Nigeria’s governance landscape through economic stabilization, strategic reforms, and a renewed commitment to national unity.

“President Tinubu’s government has demonstrated that genuine reforms may come with short-term discomfort, but they are essential to building a stable and prosperous nation. From economic recalibration to infrastructural expansion, he has shown unwavering courage where many before him wavered,” AIO stated.

One of the defining moves of the administration, he highlighted, was the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange market, decisions that many past leaders delayed due to political backlash. “He faced these realities squarely. These policies are restoring balance to our economy, and recent data, like the $6.83 billion balance of payments surplus recorded in 2024 which underscores that the difficult decisions are beginning to yield results,” he said.

AIO also emphasized the President’s infrastructural drive, pointing to the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway as a generational legacy project. Spanning over 700 kilometers, it is poised to boost regional trade, foster integration, and open up critical economic corridors.

“Infrastructure is the bedrock of national development. From the reactivation of the Abuja Light Rail to this historic coastal highway, President Tinubu is not just planning, he is building,” AIO noted.

In education, AIO lauded the creation of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which provides long-term, accessible student loans to millions of indigent students across the country. “It is a clear signal that this administration is serious about empowering the next generation. Education is no longer just a promise, it’s being delivered,” he affirmed.

Drawing comparisons with previous governments, AIO remarked that President Tinubu’s administration has brought clarity and consistency to national policy, especially in areas where past administrations faltered or were indecisive.

“From FX reforms to renewed security frameworks, we are seeing an administration that acts decisively. While it may take time for all the benefits to materialize fully, Nigerians can already see the direction, and it’s promising,” he said.

Calling on Nigerians to remain united and optimistic, AIO urged continued support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He described the President as a man of strategy and vision, not one driven by impulse but by a long-term developmental blueprint.

“No meaningful change comes without growing pains. But our collective future is being restructured for greatness. Let’s not be distracted by short-term discomforts or voices of division. Nigeria is on the move, and we must all play our part,” he urged.

In conclusion, Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin reaffirmed his commitment and that of his constituents to the success of the Tinubu administration.

“This anniversary is not just a ceremonial milestone. It is a symbol of a journey that has commenced in earnest, a journey to rebuild a nation we can all be genuinely proud of. We remain hopeful, firm, and committed,” he concluded.

AIO Celebrates Children’s Day With Strong Message On Protection And Nation Building

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to celebrate Children’s Day today, Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), an APC chieftain and key grassroots mobilizer in Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency, has called for renewed commitment towards protecting the rights and well-being of children, describing them as the “greatest treasure and the hope of a prosperous future.”

In a heartfelt message released on Tuesday, the political figure underscored the importance of safeguarding children from harm and providing them with an environment that encourages growth, learning, and moral guidance.

“Our children are our greatest treasure. They are our future. Those who abuse them tear at the fabric of our society and weaken our nation,” he quoted.

AIO stressed that society cannot afford to turn a blind eye to the plight of vulnerable children, those exposed to abuse, child labor, illiteracy, and neglect. According to him, these challenges not only damage the lives of individual children but also erode the moral strength and unity of the entire nation.

He emphasized that no meaningful development can take place in any nation where children are not given adequate protection and access to quality education, health care, and emotional support. He charged parents, guardians, government institutions, and community leaders to rise to the responsibility of nurturing the next generation with discipline, empathy, and foresight.

In line with this year’s celebration, AIO reaffirms his strong and continuous support for education initiatives, youth development programs, and advocacy for child rights, especially across local communities in Osun State.

Hon. Oluwatosin also used the opportunity to extend his warmest wishes to children across the federation, urging them to remain focused, determined, and morally upright as they grow to become responsible future leaders.

“To every child out there, your dreams are valid. Keep shining, keep learning, and know that you are loved and valued. We believe in you.”

As the nation reflects on the importance of this day, the message from AIO serves as a clarion call for all to play active roles in ensuring that Nigeria’s most valuable assets, her children are not just celebrated today, but protected every day.
