“Permit me to stand on the existing protocol..
My name is Hon. Jamaluddeen Kabir, the Deputy National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, in Nigeria; here representing my National Youth Leader, Hon Dayo Israel.
On behalf of the ruling party, The All Progressives Congress, in Nigeria, under the able leadership of His Excellency, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and the youth wing of our party, under the leadership of Hon. Dayo Israel, I brought the goodwill message of peace and prosperity to all the youth and entire members of the ruling party, the CNDD-FDD, in Burundi.
It’s indeed, worthy of note that, the relationship that co-exists between our two countries (Nigeria and Burundi) has been a cordial one, with lots of mutual benefits on both sides, so also that of the two ruling parties, The APC in Nigeria, and CNDD-FDD in Burundi. If I may recall last year, 2021, there was a bilateral agreement signed between Nigeria and Burundi on political consultations. As a result of the agreement signed between our two countries of recent there was a visit by the Secretary General of the ruling party of Burundi (CNDD-FDD) to Nigeria. Also to cement the relationship between our parties, today, the Youth Leader of the ruling APC, in Nigeria, is here to show solidarity with the Youth in Burundi
My National Youth Leader ask I use this opportunity to appeal to all the Youth in Burundi, espicially those of the ruling party, the CNDD-FDD, to always shun away from violence and always embrace Peace, and to work towards promoting the Unity and progress of Burundi as a country. As you all are aware that it’s only when peace exists that development can be achieved anywhere in the world.
I want to say at this point that, the youth wing of the ruling party, APC, in Nigeria and that of Burundi’s ruling party, the CNDD-FDD would continue to enjoy a good working relationship now and in the future.aDFjhH
God Bless The CNDD-FDD in Bunrundi God Bless The APC in Nigeria.

The last three years of Hon. Olubukola Oyewo’s tenure as lawmaker representing Oṣogbo Federal Constituency has been a phenomenal one for the territory.
Hon. Oyewo has so far demonstrated through the implementation of his legislative framework that he is determined and unwavering in his commitment towards rejuvenating every sector of his domain.
Immediately after his inauguration into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, the enthusiastic lawmaker simply rolled up his sleeves and knuckled down to the business of delivering the dividends of democracy and getting Oṣogbo Federal Constituency to start functioning again.
Bukoy, as he is fondly called by his teeming supporters, hit the ground running from the first day he assumed office in 2019, by facilitating the construction of roads and erosion control systems, building ultramodern classroom blocks, sinking boreholes, providing public sanitary facilities and several other key amenities. No council area in his domain has been left behind in his developmental programmes. Inhabitants of Oṣogbo, Erin-Osun, Ifon, Ilobu and other major towns have benefited from various projects and intervention schemes sponsored by the parliamentarian.
The APC chieftain has consistently insisted that he will stop at nothing to protect the interest of his people and prioritize their welfare.
The framework to kick-start the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Oṣogbo Federal Constituency had been laid down in Hon. Olubukola Oyewo’s campaign promises to his constituents while seeking their votes.
In fulfilment of his transformation agenda, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo, in less than four years into his tenure, has not only shamed his critics, but has silenced the opposition and transformed the landscape of Oṣogbo Federal Constituency.
A dispassionate summary of Bukoy’s performance will confirm that virtually every sector of his territory has been positively impacted since 2019 and the definitive testimony of his visionary and progressive political representation has continued to be a reference point.
From 2019 to 2022, over 40 key projects and programs have been initiated and implemented by the Osun federal lawmaker.
This unprecedented development delivered by Oyewo is coming at a time when resources are scarce and hard to source.
Two major talking points have stood out in his first term in office, which have defined his impressive style of representation and the brilliance of his strategic administrative acumen on the home front and at the House of Representatives.
The first is that Rep. Olubukola Oyewo has consistently insisted that his legislative blueprint will protect the welfare and interest of his constituents and only the best will be good enough for Osogbo Federal Constituency.
The second is that he remains one of the few parliamentarians in Osun who have attracted massive infrastructure development projects to his territory.

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) has cautioned the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stop its threat to plunge the state into an avoidable crisis over the conduct of the local government election in the state.
According to the state chairman of the APC, Prince Famodun Adegboyega in a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo yesterday, which was made available to the newsmen, the party frowned at the series of threats by the PDP at a press conference which was addressed by the state caretaker chairman of the party, Dr Akindele Adekunle, in Osogbo yesterday where he threatened the readiness of his party to promote chaos in the state.
It would be recalled that the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission ( OSSIEC) under the chairmanship of Otunba Segun Oladitan disclosed its readiness to conduct a local government election in October at a press conference in Osogbo on Tuesday.
The APC reminded the PDP that Governor Gboyega Oyetola who is still enjoying the protection of the constitution as the subsisting bonafide governor of the state would not allow any irritant to dictate to him on how to run his government within the stipulated four-year pact that he signed with the people of the state.
The ruling party told the PDP that there is an option available to approach the court instead of threatening to bring down the government of Oyetola.
The APC statement also reminded the PDP handlers led by Adekunle that the law of sedition is firmly in force to deal with anyone who is contemplating an insurrection against any lawful authority.
The statutory security outfits should also be at alert to nip in the bud any plans of any individual or group of renegades whose intention is to promote chaos in the state.
Famodun who stated that the use of self help has no nexus with a democratic institution explained that the OSSIEC as a corporate body can sue and be sued by anyone or a corporate body which has an axe to grind with it.
